D1.The two
main categories of diseases are communicable and non-communicable.
D2.The
symptoms are extreme weakness and paralysis of body parts.
D3.The
diseases that spread through
mosquitoes are malaria and dengue.
D4.The girl
who find difficult to see in dim light and has dry and scaly skin is suffering
from vitamin A deficiency diseases.
D5.Water
should not allow to stagnant around our homes because Stagnant water is
suitable place of breeding for mosquitoes.
E1.Calcium
are phosphorous are building bulk of bone and teeth. Deficiency of calcium and phosphorous in our body make our teeth weak ,loss of shines and
whiteness of teeth. It also make our bone weak soft and fragile.
E2.The
deficiency diseases can be prevented by adopting the following measures:
Ø One should take a balanced diet
containing all types of nutrients.
Ø One must follow good food practices
and habits.
Ø Children must be given adequate
amount of milk ,milk products, and additional food items.
E3.We can
prevent the spread of germs from a sick person to a healthy person by observing
the following precautions:
Ø By disinfecting all the articles and
clothes of infected person.
Ø By keeping our surrounding clean and
hygienic.
Ø By regular medical check up
Ø By taking proper vaccine.
E4. Isha who was suffering from Chickenpox was
advised by her teacher not to come to school till she has recovered completely
because chicken pox is an air borne communicable diseases. If she will come to
school before complete recovery chickenpox may transmit to other students in
school.
E5.Deficiency
diseases are called non-communicable diseases because these diseases do not
transmit from patient to healthy person by no means. Defiecncy diseases are caused
due to deficiency of nutrient in the body.
