transport.

Leather obtained from the skin of animals is used to makes

4. Suggest any four steps to prevent cruelty to
animals.
Ans: Four steps to prevent cruelty to animals are as follows:
I.
We should not throw polythene bags in the garbage .Stray
animals may eat them and die due to suffocation.
II.
We should not keep birds in
cages of fish in aquarium.
III.
While visiting a garden or
or park, never remove eggs from a
birds nest.
IV.
We should keep some water in a bowl and keep it outside for
the birds in summer season.
5.Some wild animals are hunted because their body is
considered useful by man. Give examples of such wild animals. Also mention the
parts of the body which is used in each case.
Ans: Examples of wild animals killed for body parts
are :

Elephant:The tusk is used
for making jewellery

Rhinocers: The horn of rhinoceros is used for making medicines.
