My Body
D1.Ans:The process by which living
organisms take in oxygen and give out carbon
dioxide is called breathing.
D2.The fore-limbs are connected to the
spine by the shoulder girdles and collar bone.
D3.The rib cage protects the delicate
organ heart and lungs.

are:

rib cage, the backbone and the limbs.

all mammal .But if we compare the
sense organ we find that-

Dogs have very
well developed sense of smell than human. Dogs can listen infrasonic sound
where as human being can’t listen infrasonic (below 20 hertz).
ii) Bats have a special power of hearing
.Bat can listen ultrasonic sound where as human being can’t listen ultrasonic
(above 20,000 hertz).Bats by help up of ultrasonic sound detect their prey in
the dark.
E6.Yes we breathe even when we are
sleeping. We need energy every moment , our body can’t work without energy. To
get energy continuous oxygen is required for our body that’s why we have to
breath even if we are sleeping .Otherwise human being will die.
